Attribute Lists

The objective of an attribute list is to create a list of values that an attribute attached to an object can take. For example, the product color attribute could need a list of colors such as ‘Red’, ‘Green’ and ‘Blue’. The attribute list consists of a ‘Data View’ that can be populated with data in different ways.

Access Attribute Lists by selecting Client Administration > Objects > Object attribute setup > Attribute Lists.

Create a Data View with the values you want the attribute to have. For more information regarding how to create data views, see System administration > Data services > Data Views.

If the Data View is created in Client Administration, the Data View will not be visible in other clients. However, if the Data View is created under System Administration, the Data View will be visible and possible to use in the selected clients.
