The data table that the form should update values to in the database.

DATA_TABLE is a mandatory parameter in all forms that defines which data table in the database (Bizview database or other database) should update and store the planning data entered in the form. Different data tables can be used for different sections in the form.

The data tables that should be used when storing data must be configured by a system administrator with the BV40 role via the Systems menu. When designing the data tables and linking to specific data containers, the designer then synchronizes the setup to the database and actually creates physical database tables with the defined setup. The clients that should be able to access the form must be linked to the data container, and that data container then needs to be linked to the data table specified in the form.

Access Data Table from the right panel in Template Design by selecting Parameters > Data Update > Data Table.

In the right panel field, enter the data table ID directly in the field, or use the drop-down list to choose which data table should store the data. The data tables visible in the list are the only data tables designed for planning data.

If the template contains several sections, a grid will be visible for the Data Table parameter. In the grid, you can enter a new data table for a specific section, edit existing ones, or delete a parameter. If a data table is defined without a section, then that data table will be applied to all sections in the template.
