Export Dashboards

The Export Dashboard function enables you to create a compressed file of everything you need for restring a certain dashboard, in another solution. This function is useful if you want to reuse a previously defined dashboard.

The advantages of this function are:

  • The compressed file contains all related data for the Dashboard(s), such as Dashareas and Panes.

  • You can choose to export more than one Dashboard at the same time.

Access the Export dashboards by selecting System Administration > Dashboards > Utilities > Export dashboards.

Complete the following:

  1. From the tree view list, select the Client(s) from which you want to export Dashboard(s). All the Dashboards that match your selected criteria display in the tree view.

  2. Mark the check box next to all Dashboard you want to Export.

  3. Click Create Export file. A 'DashboardExport.gz' file will be created. The name can be anything, but keep the .gz file type.

The .gz file created from a Dashboard export in Bizview can be imported using the corresponding function, Import Dashboard.
