Responsibles

The workflow is based on the idea that a user has something to do at assigned step(s), like insert new values in a form, approve a report, and so on. In order for the user to be able to carry out the step assigned, the user needs to be defined either as a Doer or Responsible, or both in some cases.

Responsibles consist of:

  • Doer User: The user who should do the step. For example, inserting values in a form, performing a task, or approving underlying steps.

  • Responsible User: The user who is responsible for the step, meaning the one that approves/rejects what the doers has done.
