Sessions

In the Session interface, systems administrators can view, stop, and broadcast to the current active Bizview sessions. Sessions are very useful when doing system maintenance and you, as the administrator, need to handle logged on users. Here, it's also possible to send message, kill sessions, and lock Bizview.

Access Sessions by selecting System administration > System Options > Sessions.

Below is a list of session fields:

Name of session User ID.

Highlight one to see details such as User ID, Machine ID, Client IP, Number of sessions

Broadcast message

Use to send message to users.

"System maintenance will be performed between 17:00 and 19:00. Make sure to save all your work and logout from Bizview."

Sends network message to all users. Possible to add Title and Text.

Kill all sessions

Kills all user sessions.
