My Workflow Tasks

Select the Insert tab in the ribbon and click on My Workflow Tasks to insert an area summarizing you workflow tasks at the very moment of logging in.

Below is an example of My Workflow Tasks:

MyWFtasks

The content in this dasharea is dynamic, depending on the user logging in. The dasharea displays any workflow task(s) that the logged in user must perform an action on at the moment of logging in. The user can navigate to the workflow steps from the dasharea. An Administrator will not see all steps in this area, only tasks for Doer and/or Responsible display. In addition, the tasks are not shown in a tree view, as in the workflow module. The location of the step can be viewed in the breadcrumb under the actual step title in the list.

Upon selecting one of the tasks in this list, Bizview navigates to the particular workflow step and the user can work from there. If a workflow step changes status (depending on the user's responsibilities), tasks will disappear from My Workflow Tasks and others will be added. For example, you are a Doer on a step and the step changes status to "Ready", then that particular step will be removed from your Workflow Tasks, since you, as a Doer, cannot perform anymore actions on this step.

This type of dasharea is a powerful area to add in a Homepage Dashboard.

To view available settings, access General settings in the right panel.
