Ribbon - Reports
The Report ribbon above the spreadsheet contains three different ribbon tabs: Home, View, and Share.
Note: Depending on settings in the report, you might not see all the buttons described below.
The ribbon in the Home tab contains the following options:
Ribbon Button | Description |
---|---|
Refresh | Refreshes the report. Note: If you have done any drilldowns in the report, these will be lost when refreshing the report. |
Close | Closes the report. |
Selection Pane | Opens the selection pane when the report is connected to a selection pane. If not, this button will not be visible. |
General Comment | Adds a general comment in the report. |
The ribbon in the View tab contains the following options:
Ribbon Button | Description |
---|---|
Headings | Displays the row and column headings. |
Formula Bar | Opens a formula bar to view formulas in cells. |
Gridlines | Shows the gridlines in the report. |
Outline | Hides outline symbols (+/- if the report is designed with outline groups). By default, outline symbols are visible when opening the report. |
The ribbon in the Share tab contains the following options:
Ribbon Button | Description |
---|---|
Prints your report. Upon selecting this button, a new window opens where you can choose what you want to print. | |
Share | Select this button to copy the link to this report. Then, choose if you want to include Navigation and/or Header, and if you want URL or a link to embed the report. |
Export to PDF | Exports the report to a .pdf file. |
Export to Excel | Exports the report to Excel, including two options: Export to Excel (normally) and Export to Excel - clear formulas (Bizview will convert all formulas to actual values before exporting the file). |
