Re-validating an Existing License

You need to re-validate your Bizview license key annually. If you have the role System Administrator you will get a message that the license will expire in 30 days. This message will only be visible in Bizview HTML Client (not in the Silverlight Client).  If you don’t re-validate the existing license key in 30 days, a message will appear and you will not be able to log in to Bizview:

validate_license_license_expired

Note: You don't need a new license key, use the existing license key.

You can only re-validate your license from the Bizview HTML Client (not the Silverlight Client),  but the warning messages will appear in both clients.

  1. To run Bizview in the new HTML Client, access your Bizview URL.
  2. Click on the User menu in the upper-right corner, and go to About Bizview > License Information.
  3. Select Validate. A message displays that the validation succeeded:

    re-validate_license_key

    re-validate_license_key_succeeded

Send a ticket to bizviewsupport@insightsoftware.com if you encounter problems when you are re-validating the license.
