n/a

Mandatory in combination with the ADDINFOn parameter in PARAM. In the ADDINFOn row in the template, the requested information will be automatically inserted when the document is generated.

In combination with the ADDINFOn parameter in PARAM, ADDINFOn must also be defined in the actual template. Otherwise, the program will not know where to insert the result of the defined ADDINFO SQL query. This parameter is used to add any additional information to the template and the SQL query is stated in PARAM. The result of the SQL query will be inserted in the ADDINFOn row in the template from column C. If the query result contains several columns (but only one row), then the first result will be inserted in column C, the second result in column D, and so on.

From version Bizview 2011 (1.0630.1705) the query result can also contain several rows (but only one column), and the result will be inserted from column C on in the ADDINFO row.

Note: The query set cannot return both several rows and columns, then only the first column will be returned in the template.

From the ADDINFO row, the designer can then link the information to, for example, the document heading.

Template Worksheet

In the Template Worksheet:

  • Column A        = ADDINFOn

  • Column C        = The first column returned by the SQL query.

  • Column D        = The second column returned by the SQL query.

  • and so on...

Add ADDINFOn in the template. When the document is generated, the information will be inserted in that row from column C on. Note that nothing needs to be defined in the ADDINFO1 row in column C and forth, since the program will automatically insert values in these cells. To view the actual SQL query that is stated, see ADDINFOn in PARAM.

The ADDINFO row should be defined with ROWTYPE = DESIGN (the row will be hidden when document is generated):
