Tasks for the Database Administrator

The objective of the tasks performed by the Database Administrator (DBA) is to make it possible for Bizview to extract and retrieve data from the ERP system database(s).

There are two different scenarios, and depending on the scenario, the database administrator tasks are somewhat different.

The first scenario is when the ERP database(s) and the Bizview database are installed in the same SQL server instances. The other scenario is the opposite, when the ERP database(s) and the Bizview database reside in separate SQL server instances.
