Organizations
- [Users] - Users
- [Object Values] - Assign object value access
An Organization is used to group Bizview users into organizational units where you can assign Client access, Object values, and Planning version access. This is different from the Role feature, where you assign access to end user features such as Dashboards and Templates.
Organizations allow you to assign a group of users to Organizational belongings. For example, 10 users that should all have access to Client 10 and Unit 100, 1010, and 120. The feature omits the need to assign these access levels to each user individually.
Access this feature by selecting System > Users & Groups > Organizations:
The Organizations page displays, as shown below:
To define a new Organization, select the New button or the Create a new organization link at the top of the screen.

Grant Access to Organization
All roles need some access permissions to be able to use Bizview in a meaningful way. The minimum permissions are accessible to a client and a template. These access settings are done in the different tabs from the Role settings.
- Clients: Select which users the Organizations should have access to.
- Users: Select which users the Organizations should have access to.
- Object Values: Select which object values the Organizations should have access to.
- Versions: Select which planning versions the Organizations should have access to.
Usage
The settings defined here are applied to all login authorizations, as well as data when running reports or generating input forms. These settings are used in the same way as corresponding user settings.
Note: If settings to a particular value is set both on the user and for an organization, the lowest level (user setting) will be applied to the evaluation.
