Application E-mail
E-mail includes settings regarding SMTP configuration, your outgoing E-mail information, and E-mail handling in Workflows.
Begin by selecting the Settings icon from the menu:
In the E-mail section, select SMTP:
The Application E-mail settings display, as shown below:
The following settings are available:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Credentials | Select Credentials to enter the address for the SMTP server and the login credentials to the SMTP mail server. |
Test E-mail settings | Tests the credentials. |
Sender | The address to be shown as the sender of E-mails sent from Bizview. |
Contact E-mail | The contact/support E-mail address for users to use if they need help. |
Contact Name | The contact/support name provided to the users. |
Activate Outgoing Mail in Workflow | ON/OFF. |
Name of Application - Visible in E-mail | The name of your application, visible to the end-user. |
URL to Application - Visible in E-mail | URL link to the Bizview application included in the automatic mail to end-users. |
Number of Days Overdue | Sends out an E-mail if the due date for a step passes. For example, if the list is set to "1", it sends out an E-mail when steps are one day overdue. |
Only Send New Messages (STATUS 0) | ON/OFF - 0 is a message status in the table app.messages. This means that only messages with status 0 should be sent. |
