Editing Application Pool Identity to Enable PDF Viewer

Some servers have experienced problems launching (clicking) the PDF preview button. The progress dots appear, but nothing happens. To solve this issue, follow these steps below:

  1. Open IIS.
  2. Choose Advanced Settings from the Default Web Site / Bizview folder.
  3. Change Application Pool from DefaultAppPools        to        ASP. NET v4.0.

    APPENDIX_edit_application_pool

  1. Open Advanced Settings for Application Pool ASP NET v4.0:

    APPENDIX_edit_application_pool_advanced

  2. Change the Identity from NetworkService        to the Domain Administrator user account:
  3. APPENDIX_edit_application_pool_identity

  4. Select Set:

    APPENDIX_edit_application_pool_identity_custom_acc
