Dashboard Tab Settings

A dashboard can contain several different tabs, with different dashareas within each tab.

This topic contains the following sections:

Below is an example of a dashboard with tabs:

You can change settings for a specific tab if you go to the right panel and choose desired tab in the drop down (or click on the tab in the bottom of the dashboard):

Below is a list of dashboard tab General Settings:

Setting

Description

Title

Title of the tab. The title will be shown in the actual tab at the bottom of the dashboard.

Background

Background color for the active tab.

Add Tabs

In edit mode, click the + icon to add more tabs in your dashboard:

Delete Tabs

In edit mode, click the x icon next to the tab name to delete a tab:

Caution: When deleting a tab, all dashareas within that tab will also be deleted.

When only one tab exists in the dashboard, it is not possible to remove the tab.

Change Tab Order

In edit mode, hover over the changeordericon icon and then click, hold down, and drag the tab to another position, as demonstrated below:
