Clearing Browser Cache/History

The browser history, or cache, can sometimes cause the Bizview application to fail when loading a report or form. The symptom appears as if the browser freezes.To solve this the browser cache, or history, needs to be cleared.

This topic contains the following sections:

Internet Explorer

Press ALT to show menus and then go toTools > Internet Options > Browsing History > Delete:

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the menu button firefox_menu_button.
  2. Go to Settings > Advanced > Network tab.
  3. Click Clear Now:

Google Chrome

Click the icon in the upper-right corner and select More Tools > Clear browsing data:

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the icon in the upper-right corner and select Settings (or press CTRL + SHIFT + Delete).
  2. Click on Settings in the menu that appears:

  3. Click Choose what to clear:
  4. Clear_browser_cache_edge

  5. Select, at least, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files:

    Clear_browser_cache_edge2

    You can turn "Always clear this when I close the browser" to On, and Microsoft Edge will clear this automatically every time you close your browser.
