By default, when Bizview generates v1 reports and forms (new data engine templates), the end user can right-click and drill through to view the underlying transactions for each number. All columns returned by the data view/data table (excluding hidden columns from data table fields) display in the drill through window.
In some scenarios, you may want to hide some of the columns in the drill through window so that the user doesn't see all of the data. If some columns should NOT be shown in a template, then the new parameter EXCLUDE_DRILL_COL can be used in PARAM. State the columns (column name returned by the data view/data table) that should be hidden by entering the value(s) in column C. For example, COLUMN1#COLUMN2 and so on.
Access EXCLUDE_DRILL_COL in the Template Design right panel by selecting Parameters > Disable > Exclude Columns in Drill Through.
In the grid in the right panel you can view the different data views used in the template. Select the pencil icon to view/edit which columns should be excluded in the data views. Columns marked in the Exclude column in the dialog have already been specified.
Check the columns that should be excluded from the findata query in the specific template:
Note: If several data views are used in a template and some column names are common in these data views, then any common columns that are specified to be excluded will be excluded in the drill through dialog for all data views containing that column. You cannot exclude a specific column in just one data view and include in another if they are named exactly the same.
