Can be used to exclude periods from the automatic spread done by SPVAL and SPKEY. If used, then it needs to be defined in combination with SPVAL and SPKEY and linked to a SPGROUP.

SPLIM is an optional FORM specific parameter. However, if it is used it needs to be used in combination with SPGROUP, SPVAL, and SPKEY. In the SPLIM column(s), the end-user can enter time value(s) that should be excluded from the spread. For example, if a product is deleted from the product line from a specific week. Or, if a product is included in the product line from a specific week.

There can be several SPLIM parameters in row 1, however, each SPLIM needs to be connected to different spread groups (SPGROUP).

Mandatory parameters for SPLIM:

SPLIM

The end-user can enter a specific time value or an interval of time values in the SPLIM column to exclude them from the spread.

This is how a form could look without any spread limits being defined: (refer to the next example to see how the same form would look with spread limits)

SPLIM2

Examples:

  • Nr. 1 -> one specific time value is excluded from the spread
  • Nr. 2 -> an interval of time values are excluded from the spread
  • Nr. 3 -> two separate values are excluded from the spread.
  • Nr. 4 -> all time values except one is excluded from the spread.
