TEMPLATE

1

The parameter value needs to correspond to the actual template worksheet name.

SHEETNAME is a general parameter that must be stated in every PARAM sheet. The parameter needs to define which worksheet should be used when the actual report or form is generated.

Important: There are new validation rules that apply when designing a template in template version one. With this new validation process, you are unable to save templates when the value for SHEETNAME is empty or duplicated.

To access the Sheet Name from the right panel in Template design, select Parameters > General Parameters > Sheet Name.

Parameter value = the worksheet name of the actual template worksheet that should be generated and visible for the end-user when opening the report/form. The actual workbook template can contain many different worksheets, however, Bizview needs to know which sheet is the actual report/form.

If the designer defined the SHEETNAME parameter, but then decides to rename the worksheet tab, then Bizview will automatically update the SHEETNAME parameter if the tab that is renamed corresponds to the tab defined in the SHEETNAME parameter.
