IMAGE

Optional = optional for each custom button

For each custom button, an icon can be connected. The IMAGE parameter is simply a reference to an icon ID and the icon will be shown in the button in the ribbon. The icon should be preferably 16*16 and must e selected from the Image Library.

If a custom button is created without an icon, the ribbon button will only show the text property.

When adding or editing a custom button in template design, you can add a Button Icon by selecting Select a file...:

The Image Library displays, as shown below:

Select the icon you want to use for the specific button and then select Select. If you are BV30 user you also have the option to upload a new icon in the image library.

Note: For best resolution, the icon should be 16*16. However, other icon sizes can be used and will be re-sized in the ribbon, if needed.

When the right panel is collapsed, the information added in the above dialog will be automatically written to the SCRIPTS worksheet, and the IMAGE property for the specific button will be updated. The GUID id for the selected icon is what will show in the IMAGE property:

When you save and preview or publish the report/form, the custom button will be visible in the ribbon with the icon specified:
