cell reference or named range | 1 | Possibility to define a specific cell that should be active when first opening the report or form. By default, the active cell in for example forms is always the first entry cell that Bizview finds. However, if the designer wants to override that logic this parameter can be set. |
By default, Bizview always sets the first entry cell as active when opening for example a form. In a report the active cell will be the one that is active when the template is saved in template design. However, sometimes this logic does not match customer needs. The designer can then set a specific cell that should be active when opening the form or report, by defining another active cell.
The parameter value can be a specific cell reference or a named range. If you want to use a specific named range, you need to add the parameter manually in PARAM sheet and define the named range in column C for that parameter.
In the template worksheet, right-click in the cell that you want to define as the active cell:
When clicking that menu item and defining your own active cell, then the parameter SET_ACTIVE_CELL will be updated in PARAM sheet.
If you want to change or delete the active cell defined, go to PARAM sheet and delete it.
