Pane Designer

The selection panes that are connected to the templates should be created in the Pane Designer.

PaneDesigner

The following properties can be changed for the pane area (the white area):

  • Size of the pane (the white area) can be changed by dragging the bottom right corner.
  • Color of the pane can be changed by using the brush in the art board to the right.
  • Align all selected controls in the pane to left or top, or vertical center or horizontal center the controls.
  • Select if all controls in the pane should be snapped to grid, which allow for more precision in positioning the controls in the pane.

Controls that can be added in a pane:

Note: Only controls that lie within the pane area are included in the finished pane. All controls that lie completely outside the pane area will not be shown in the pane when generating a document. However, controls outside the pane area can be used to send in values to the PANE sheet in the template, without showing the controls for the end-user.

To select several controls in a pane, click and drag the mouse of the controls. Click once more to stop marking the controls.

After marking the necessary controls, all controls can be moved to another position:
