Client Appearance

This topic describes how to change the appearance of your Bizview application in Client Settings as an Administrator.

  1. Begin by selecting the Settings icon from the menu:

  1. In the Appearance section, select Language & Culture:

  1. The subsection expands to expose the level of settings. Choose Client:

The Client Appearance settings display, as shown below:

The client administrator can change a couple of settings in the Appearance dialog, described below:

Field

Description

Culture

Drop-down to choose desired culture.

Language

Drop-down to choose language.

Show ID in Menu

YES/NO.

Category Format

Formatting of template categories. Available $-tags are:

  • $COUNT = The number of templates within the template category

  • $CAT = The category ID

  • $DESCR = The category description

  • $SEQ = The sequence number

No Category Text

Default category text if there's no category text.

Category State

COLLAPSED/EXPANDED.

Dashboard Homepage

Sets the desired homepage for all users, unless changed on a lower level.

In Bizview, it's possible to name the different version properties. If no captions are defined, the version property columns when managing planning versions will be named Property 1, Property 2, and so on.  To make it easier when managing planning versions, the administrator can define captions for these properties. The captions defined will be shown as column headings in the Planning version GUI for Client Administrators. It's currently possible to name eight different version properties, shown below:

These changes can be viewed in Client Data > Other > Planning Versions.

Note: The Version Property Captions can be set both on an application level and client level.

In Bizview, there are preloaded ISO time values. In the Time Window, specify which of these should be available in the application when designing templates, selecting from drop-down lists, entering budgets, etc. Enter a From and To value to specify the interval:

Note: If you open a very large time window, the lists will become hard to overview for the end user. If you enter a time window that is too small, you will disable the user from choosing and working with times outside that interval.
