Comments - Reports
If any of the dimension values in the report (any break value or other dimension value) are connected to a general management comment, these comments will be visible in the comments panel to the right.
You, as a user, can only view and/or edit the comments you have access to through the comment categories. In some cases, you might only have read access (you cannot edit these comments), other comments you might have both read and write access to.
Add a new general comment by clicking the + icon in the top-right corner (same as using the General Comment button in the ribbon).
In the Comments module in the Main menu you can view all your general comments that you have added or edited.
A pencil icon to the right of each comment box indicates that you have write access to the comment. Select the pencil icon to open the comment dialog:
Caution: On mobile/tablets it is only possible to view existing comments, you cannot add or edit a comment.
From the Edit Comment dialog you can edit the comment, add answers, attach documents, and so on:
Selecting the link icon displays any linked values, as shown below:
Select the chat icon to view the chat thread:
To add an answer to the chat thread, select the pencil icon:
Selecting the clock icon displays the comment history, as shown below:
To view or add attachments, select the clip icon:
