Workspace
In the lower-left corner there is a menu item named "Workspace". This menu contains all your open workbooks from the Analytics, Reports, and Input module (not weblink reports).
When you first log in, your Workspace will be empty. The list in your Workspace will increase with items as you work in Bizview and open reports/forms. The indicator in the menu item button will show how many open workbooks you have in your Workspace.
Caution: All open reports and forms in Workspace will automatically be removed when you log out of Bizview.
Open the workbooks by clicking on the title. Below the title, you can view which selections were made in the selection pane when the report/form was opened.
Select the x icon to the right of the title to remove a workbook from your Workspace.
Then, select Yes and the report/form will disappear from your Workspace. To empty your Workspace, select the Clear All option at the top of the Workspace window. All open workbooks will be closed and removed.
The Workspace can be seen as a space where your on-going work is gathered (for one login session), from which you can quickly navigate between, for example, a report with specific selections and a form with the same selections. If you want to open a report (existing in your Workspace) with completely new selection pane values, you can either go to the Reports module or change the selections in the report in your Workspace. The difference between these two methods are as follows:
Opening the report from the Reports module with specific selection creates a new item in your Workspace module. You will then have two items in your Workspace, the same report but with different selection values.
Changing the selection in the report in your Workspace does not create a new item in your Workspace module, the existing report item is simply exchanged with new selection values.
Use the Search field to search for a specific report. The search will perform a "contains" search of the word/letters that you enter in the field.
