Prerequisites

This topic describes the program and database prerequisites needed prior to installing Bizview.

This topic contains the following sections:

Application Server

The following programs must be pre-installed on the application server before installing Bizview:

1. Operating System:
   • Windows Server 20121
   • Windows Server 2012 R2
   • Windows Server 2016

2. Windows Server Components:
   • IIS 7 (or higher), with req. roles and features activated
   • ASPN.net Framework 4.8
   • ASP.net Core

All features and roles can be installed automatically using Powershell: http://dev.bizviewsystems.com/install/bizview/_Utilities/Bizview_prep.zip

Database Server

The database server must have the following prerequisites in place:

• LAN access from the application server
• SQL Server 2012 or higher, incl Express edition
• We recommend SQL Server 2016 SP1 or higher that includes features that Bizview can leverage, if available

Software:

• Server Management Studio
