Cell Styles
The users have the ability to define cell styles, which enable customized formatting for cells within templates. These cell styles can be established at the client level, allowing greater flexibility. Once defined, these styles can be easily applied during the template design process, enhancing the overall presentation and usability of the templates. Additionally, it includes a selection of predefined cell styles for immediate use.
Access the Cell Styles by selecting System > Designer Tools > Cell Styles:
The Cell styles page displays, as shown below:
The page displays all the predefined and custom cell styles in the grid.
Using the Cell Styles master you can Add a New Cell Styles, Refresh, Close, Filter, Edit, and Delete the existing cell styles.
Note: Cell styles feature is available only to the system administrators.
Predefined Cell Styles
A set of predefined cell styles are added to the cell styles grid for template designers. Users will see predefined options that are grouped by predefined style type
The available predefined styles are shown in the below image:
Adding a new Cell Style
To add a new cell style:

Select the Add button in the ribbon.
A Create New Cell Style dialog displays, as below:
Enter the Cell Style ID and a Description.

Select the required fields such as fonts, size, font styles, text color, background color, text alignment, cell alignment, borders, border color.
You can preview the cell style in the Preview field.

Click Save.
A new cell style is created and is displayed under the custom cell style group.
Editing a Cell Style
To edit an existing cell style:

Select the required Cell Style ID in the grid.
The Edit Cell Styles dialog displays in the right panel, as below:

Update the required fields such as description, fonts, size, font styles, text color, background color, text alignment, cell alignment, borders, border color.
You can preview the cell style in the Preview field.

Click Save.
The cell style is updated and displayed under the custom cell style group.
Deleting a Cell Style
To delete a cell style:

Choose the style that you wish you delete and click the Remove Cell Style( X) icon.
A Delete Cell Style dialog displays, as below:

Select Yes.
The Cell Style will be removed from the grid.
Note: The predefined cell styles cannot be edited or deleted.
Cell Styles drop down in Template design
The Cell Styles dropdown is available in the Edit tab of template design. This allows the template designers to select the cell styles while designing the templates. The "Select Cell Styles" dropdown is placed after the Replace option in the Edit tab.
Note: This feature is applicable to both Forms and reports type templates.
You can select multiple cells and apply the Cell Styles formatting using this option.
Styling applied in the template design will remain as is even if the cell style is deleted. But the cell style will be no longer visible in the dropdown.
If the cell style is altered after being applied in the template design, and you wish to update the format to match the latest version of that cell style, you will need to re-apply the Cell Style in the template design to observe the changes.
