Export Templates

The Export Templates function enables you to create a compressed file of everything you need for restring a certain template, in another solution. This function is useful if you want to reuse a previously defined template.

The advantages of this function (compared to a simple Excel export) are:

  • The compressed file contains all related data for the Template(s), such as Template scripts, Data scripts, Images, Categories, and Panes.

  • You can choose to Export more than one template at the same time.

Access Export templates by selecting System Administration > Templates > Utilities > Export templates.

Completing the following steps:

  1. From the drop-down list, select the Client(s) from which you want to export template(s).

  2. Then, select View List. All the templates that match your selected criteria display in a tree view.

  3. Mark the check box next to all templates you want to Export.

  4. Select Create Export file. A 'TemplateExport.gz' file will be created. The name can be anything, but keep the .gz file type.

Additional Information

Usage

The .gz file created from a template export in Bizview can be imported using the corresponding function, Import Template.
