Define an object ID as parameter and object value(s) as parameter value. Mandatory in connection with the ADDSHEET parameter; otherwise, optional. |
In the PARAM sheet, an object can be defined that is common for all data rows in the template. Examples of objects include ACCOUNT, UNIT, CUSTOMER, PROJECT, etc. If the ADDSHEET parameter is used, then an object also need to be defined in PARAM, since it is the object values stated in column C, that will be used to create worksheets.
Columns in PARAM sheet:
A: An object ID (ACCOUNT, ITEM, UNIT, CUSTGROUP, PROJECT, etc). Needs to correspond to the objects defined in Bizview.
B: A descriptive text can be entered (just for information).
C: The parameter value = object value(s) for the defined object in column A. These values can be linked from the selections (PANE worksheet) made by users when generating the document.
D: An additional parameter value = object value(s) for the defined object in column A. These values will then be used when fetching values to the FORM. The object values stated in column C will be used when updating data values in the database. If a value in column D is omitted, then the value(s) in column C will be used both when updating values to the database and fetching values to the form. (From version Bizview 2011 (1.0901.1427), only applicable in FORMS).
In the example below, ONE document will be created for customer groups 10, 11, 12, and 13 together. If one worksheet should be created for each customer group (four documents), then the ADDSHEET parameter also needs to be defined with value CUSTGROUP in column C.
