The formulas that are supported by the sum allocation feature are:

  •        SUM

  •        SUBTOTAL

  •        +

In other words, it is only possible to tag rows and columns as EDITSUM if they contain any of the above formulas. Any other formulas, like SUMIF, are not supported by the sum allocation, so allocating a SUMIF sum value will not re-allocate the correct linked values.
