Chart Types

The chart type can be defined for the whole chart in Content Settings.

Below is the list of the chart types available in Bizview:

Area

These charts are used to illustrate accumulated totals using data over time.

Note: This chart is in 3D.

StackedArea

Stacked Area charts show proportional relationships (a cumulative chart type).

Full Stacked Area

Each data series is represented by an area, and these areas are stacked on top of each other, filling up to 100% of the chart's height.

Spline Area

The Spline Area chart visualizes data trends over specified intervals after interpolation. The area between the spline and the argument axis is shaded with a color.

Stacked Spline Area

Stacked Spline Area series is used to display multiple series.

Full Stacked Spline Area

Each data series is represented by a smooth, curved area (spline), and these areas are stacked on top of each other, filling up to 100% of the chart's height.

Step Area

The Step Area chart displays data as a region between the argument axis and series values that are joined by horizontal and vertical line segments.

Bar

Bar charts are used to illustrate frequencies or comparing values of different categories. Also useful when axis labels are longer. (Select among StackedBar and StackedBar100).

StackedBar

These charts are very useful when wanting to display proportional relationships over time. The emphasis is be more on values than time.

Full Stacked Bar

Each bar represents a total, and the segments within the bar represent different categories or parts of that total, filling up to 100% of the bar's height or length.

Line

This chart is useful when wanting to observe the relation between a set of values by connecting them with lines. Works well in combination with column charts.

Stacked Line

Stacked Line series is used to display multiple series and if you want to emphasize the total of all values combined.

Full Stacked Line

Each data series is represented by a line, and these lines are stacked on top of each other, filling up to 100% of the chart's height.

StepLine

A step line chart is similar to a line chart. StepLine does not use the shortest distance to connect two data points. Instead, the step line chart uses vertical and horizontal lines to connect the data points in a series forming a step-like structure and clearly showing rise and falls.

SpLine

These are line charts that plots a fitted curve through each data point in a series.

Note: SeriesDefined is a default setting that allows you to define chart types per series.

Stacked Spline

Stacked Spline series is used to display multiple series with smooth (curved line) and you want to emphasize the total of all values combine.

Full Stacked Spline

Each data series is represented by a smooth, curved line (spline), and these lines are stacked on top of each other, filling up to 100% of the chart's height.

Scatter

The scatter series displays data as a collection of points on the plane. Scatter plots are used to identify relationships between point values.
