System Logs

System Logs are useful to look at if, for example, users experience that they are being kicked out of the system, if you want to view who ordered a specific report, if an error occurred, and so on.

Complete the following steps:

  1. Select the Settings icon from the menu.

  2. Under Other, select System Logs and the Application level:

Bizview displays the system log, as shown below:

Below is a list of the available System Log fields:

TEMPLATE

  • LOGIN - login attempt

  • DASH - execution of a dashboard

The ID of the client.

The Bizview user ID executing the event.

The template or dashboard that was executed.

Type of action or response that was executed.

Time

The time it took for the server to execute the command.

Do not include time to transfer the data to the client or the rendering on the client side.

Description

Any additional information captured. For example, what selection the user made in the selection pane before executing a report.

To print or export the data to Excel or similar, select the Export button.
