Changing Formats

After you create an analytics report, you might want to change the value format of your measure fields. For example, you may prefer to view the Revenue values in thousands and without decimals.

To perform a format change, right-click on the measure field that you want to change and select Format.

A field settings dialog for the selected measure displays, like below:

In this example, the revenue should be shown in thousands and with no decimals.

  1. Change the format list box to Thousands.

  2. Change precision to 0 by dragging the indicator to the left to 0.

  3. Click OK.

The revenue values are now shown in thousands and with 0 decimals:

If you want to save this particular Analytics report so that you next time can open it without having to select fields and changing format, you can save it as a bookmark.
