Comments Panel in Report/Form
All general comments added by users will be visible in a comment panel to the right of the report/form. If some comments (connected to specific category/block) should also be visible in the actual report/form, the designer must add a comment block in the actual spreadsheet.

Visible Comments in the Comments Panel
When opening a report/form, the comments panel becomes visible in the right panel if any comment exists that are connected to dimension values in the report/form. It is important to understand that the actual comments are NOT linked to any specific report or form, but instead linked to dimension values. This means that the same comment will probably be visible in several reports and/or forms, depending on the dimension values in the report/form.
Add General Comments in the Comments Panel
Below is a list of the ways you can add a new comment:
Select the General Comments button in the ribbon
Select the + button in the Comments panel (to the right of the Comments heading)
Right-click in a comment block area in the report/form and select Add comment
Note: If a user does not have access to comments (governed by access to comment categories), the comment panel to the right will not be visible and the user will not be able to insert comments.
Icons in the Comments Panel
The following icons can be viewed in the comments panel for each comment:
: Select to open or edit the comment.
: An answer/chat exists for the comment.
: An attachment exists for the comment.
