Inserting a Chart

A chart can be of different types, for example bar, area, line, spline or scatter. When inserting a chart dasharea, the chart type is by default bar, but can easily be changed in General Settings.

To insert a chart area into your dashboard, select the Insert tab on the ribbon and select Chart.

Below is an example of a chart:

After inserting a chart dasharea, complete the following steps:

  1. Data Bindings: Connect the dasharea to data.

  2. Field Sortings: Sort the data the way you want (optional).

  3. Filters: Add filters to the data to display the data you want in the dasharea (optional).

  4. General Settings: Change the settings to get the chart to look as desired.
